DeSantis Expands Immigration Enforcement
On Wednesday in Tallahassee, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis declared that more state agencies have entered into agreements to take part in federal immigration enforcement initiatives. The recent agreements include collaboration between the Florida State Guard, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement in partnership with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has also participated, after a comparable agreement with the Florida Highway Patrol last week.
