La medida, SB4, que entrar\u00e1 en vigor el 5 de marzo, otorga a las fuerzas del orden locales y estatales la facultad de detener a los inmigrantes y a los jueces estatales la de dictar \u00f3rdenes para expulsarlos a M\u00e9xico. El Departamento de Justicia demand\u00f3 al estado, alegando que el gobierno federal tiene autoridad exclusiva para hacer cumplir la ley de inmigraci\u00f3n. El juez de distrito estadounidense David Ezra se mostr\u00f3 comprensivo con la preocupaci\u00f3n del estado por la complicada situaci\u00f3n en la frontera y los problemas que aquejan al sistema de inmigraci\u00f3n del pa\u00eds, dejando claro que hay que hacer algo para mejorar las leyes de inmigraci\u00f3n de la naci\u00f3n.
