Now, protesters are blasting Attorney General Brenna Bird&#8217;s appeal of the court&#8217;s injunction. The law seeks to make illegal re-entry into the U.S. a state crime and would let local law enforcement press charges against people who had deportation orders or who had been blocked from coming into the U.S. in the past.
