Teresa’s Journey Back to Peace of Mind

Teresa, a young Permanent Resident originally from Vietnam, had missed two USCIS biometrics appointments while trying to renew her green card—appointments that could have saved her hundreds in fees, since she was under 14 at the time.

By the time Teresa and her mom Cary reached out to us in August 2024, she was facing delays, uncertainty, and additional costs. Understandably, Teresa and Cary were hesitant about paying attorney fees on top of everything else. But after we walked them through the process, answered all their questions, and reassured them they weren’t alone, they decided to trust us with her case.

We got to work right away—requesting supporting documents, identifying the best path forward, and guiding Teresa every step of the way. After a brief delay to gather the USCIS filing fee, we filed her I-90 renewal application on December 17, 2024.

On January 6, 2025, Teresa successfully attended her biometrics appointment—this time, with full support and reminders from our team. And finally, on April 15, 2025, her new green card arrived in the mail. Teresa now has the peace of mind of valid residency through March 2035

Her case is a reminder that even simple immigration procedures can take unexpected turns—and that having someone on your side who understands the system makes all the difference.

Thank you, Teresa and Cary, for trusting us with your journey. We’re honored to have been part of it.
