DHS sent notice that the DHS Secretary has determined that it is necessary to waive certain legal requirements in order to construct barriers and roads near the international border in Starr County, Texas. The determination takes effect 10/5/23. DHS announced that it will resume direct repatriations of Venezuelan nationals who do not have a legal basis to remain in the United States.
