USCIS Ends Vaccine Mandate for AOS

Starting January 22, 2025, USCIS will eliminate all requirements for applicants adjusting their status to lawful permanent resident to provide documentation regarding their medical examination and receipt of the COVID-19 vaccination. USCIS will not send any Request for Evidence or Notice of Intent to Deny concerning the proof of a COVID-19 vaccination. USCIS will not reject any adjustment of status application due to the applicant’s inability to provide proof of having received the COVID-19 vaccine.
