CLIENT CARE SPECIALISTS

ARE WE A GOOD FIT?

WHO WE CAN HELP
We can help people who tell the truth and are transparent from the very beginning. The best way we can help you is when you tell the truth. If a client lies, then it makes it difficult for us to help you.
WHO WE CANNOT HELP
We want to help as many people as possible, but realistically we are humans. We want to deliver the best customer service possible. With that in mind, we accept limited cases per month. We recommend you to answer a few questions below and schedule an appointment to see if you qualify for us to help you. We are not the cheapest law firm; however, we believe we charge reasonable rates.
OUR TEAM
We treat every person who joins our team like family. We seek team players who care about our clients and acknowledge that every person has a difficult life journey in obtaining legal status.

client Commandments

  1. Respect and Professionalism: I will treat everyone at this law firm with respect. If I fail to do so, I understand the firm has the right to terminate our relationship. I understand the legal team does not work on weekends.

  2. Efficient Communication & Support Channels: I understand the firm offers support through email, meetings, support tickets, and phone calls. The use of the support channels and technology allows our team to communicate with you in a timely manner. We are not handwriting call back requests on post-it notes. That is so year 1999. I acknowledge that email and scheduled meetings are more efficient than phone calls and will not expect to be transferred when calling. Calling the office tends to create more delays on accident and are reserved for general information, not case updates.

  3. Information Review: I will read every word of the Onboard document upon signing up to save time. I will watch any video recordings sent by the team in full and will not expect an email with the same information. I will read every word of emails from the firm.

  4. Active Participation & Punctuality: I will actively participate in my case. I will ensure to show up on time for scheduled meetings.

  5. Responsiveness: I will expect a call back or email within 24 hours, excluding weekends, when I call the firm. I will try my best to answer calls from the firm and will call back during office hours if I miss a call. I will provide my availability to avoid back and forth.

  6. Clarification: If I do not understand an email or information, I will ask questions.

  7. Timely Evidence Submission: I will provide evidence at least 2 weeks before the internal deadline to ensure timely filing of my case.

  8. Financial Commitment & Processing Times: I will honor my financial commitments to the firm monthly until the balance is complete, understanding that the process depends on government timelines.
    • Legal services provided by the firm, such as preparing and filing petitions, require expertise, time, and effort. I understand the law firm controls only the timing to file with an internal deadline. After your case is filed to USCIS, the processing time is beyond our control. These timelines should not diminish the value of the work already performed by the firm. By honoring your financial commitments, it reflects a mutual commitment to our expertise and the legal process, regardless of external delays.

  9. Prep Phase Meetings: I will expect and attend the following meetings during the Prep phase: Onboard meeting, Evidence Gathering meeting, and Due Diligence Meeting.

  10. Commitment to Process: I will not hide, quit, or make excuses in regard to upholding these commandments. I agree that failing to honor these commitments could result in delays in my case as we all want the best outcome for you.

GIVING BACK

Our team selects cases to assist on a pro bono (free) and low bono (reduced rate) from nonprofit organizations in Dallas and Houston area. Generally, these cases are to help those who are domestic abuse survivors and veterans. We review many cases and only able to accept 3-4 per year. These cases are those who do not have the financial means to afford an attorney for legal representation.

Attorney Ting serves on the board for DAYA Domestic survivor organization in Houston, TX. Visit page to donate or volunteer.
