USCIS Extends Green Card Validity for Conditional Residents - Updates
CBP issued a notice informing airlines of USCIS updates regarding certain receipt notices that include extension language of up to 48 months for certain pending permanent green card applicants and renewals. This change started on January 11, 2023, for Form I-829 and January 25, 2023, for Form I-751. Travelers must bring their USCIS receipt notice with an expired resident card as evidence of continued status and valid for travel.
