Appeals Court Deals Blow to Trump Tariffs

A recent federal appeals court ruling has dealt a significant blow to former President Donald Trump’s trade agenda, blocking his broad use of tariffs under emergency economic powers. The court found that only Congress has the authority to impose new import taxes, undermining o1ne of Trump’s key tools for raising revenue and negotiating with foreign leaders.
